The Best Way
to Improve Your English
Leesburg, founded in 1758, is one of Virginia’s most attractive and vibrant communities. As the county seat of Loudoun County—one of the fastest-growing counties in the United States—Lees- burg has successfully preserved its historical charm while embracing the benefits of its proximity to the nation’s capital.
Located just 35 miles northwest of Washington, D.C., at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Leesburg offers a unique blend of history and modern convenience. Visitors are immersed in over three centuries of rich heritage while being just minutes away from Washington Dulles International Airport.
Leesburg is the perfect gateway to experience sightseeing, fine dining, antiquing, shopping, and outdoor recreation. The area was named in honor of the influential Lee family of Virginia. It is also home to General George C. Marshall, the architect of the Marshall Plan following World War II.
Loudoun County has consistently ranked as the wealthiest county in the United States.
Most of our host families live in spacious single-family homes, located just 15 to 30 minutes from the school. Royal provides daily transporta- tion between the host families’ homes and the school, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout the students’ stay.
