California 9 Day 8 Night
The Colorado River flows through Arizona and carved the Grand Canyon.
CALIFORNIA: California, a western U.S. state, stretches from the Mexican border along the Pacific for nearly 900 miles. Its terrain includes cliff-lined beaches, redwood forest, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Central Valley farmland and the Mojave Desert. The city of Los Angeles is the seat of the Hollywood entertainment industry. Hilly San Francisco is known for the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island and cable cars. California, also known as the Golden State, is the most populous U.S. state, with an estimated population of 39,431,263 in 2024
• California has the largest economy of any U.S. state, with an estimated 2024 gross state product of $4.172 trillion. If it were an independent country, it would be the fourth largest economy in the world.
• Key industries include technology (Silicon Valley), entertainment (Hollywood), agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, and real estate.
• The state is a leading producer of various agricultural products, including dairy, almonds, and grapes.
• California is also a major center for international trade and finance, with the Port of Los Angeles handling about 40% of goods imported to the US.
NEVADA: Nevada, located in the Western United States, is the 7th largest state by land area. Nicknamed the "Silver State" and the "Battle Born State", it's known for its largely desert and semi-arid climate, with mountains and valleys characterizing its landscape. Nevada shares Lake Tahoe with California, a signifi- cant alpine lake in the Sierra Nevada mountains. The state's history has been heavily influenced by its rich mineral resources, particularly the discovery of the Comstock Lode, a silver deposit, which led to a population boom in the mid-19th century and played a role in Nevada's admission to the Union as the 36th state in 1864.
Nevada's economy has transformed from a mining and agriculture base to one dominated by tourism and gaming, largely thanks to the legalization of gambling and lenient marriage and divorce laws. Las Vegas, known for its casinos, entertainment, and vibrant nightlife, is a major tourist desti- nation and the state's largest city. Reno and Lake Tahoe also contribute significantly to the tourism industry.
Despite being sparsely populated, especially outside of the major metropolitan areas like Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada has experi- enced rapid population growth in recent decades. In 2020, its population exceeded 3.2 million. The state's unique landscape also offers attractions beyond the gaming scene, including national parks, scenic drives, and ghost towns, appealing to those seeking outdoor recreation and historical exploration
ARIZONA: Arizona, a southwestern U.S. state, is best known for the Grand Canyon, the mile-deep chasm carved by the Colorado River. Flagstaff, a ponderosa pine covered mountain town, is a major gateway to the Grand Canyon. The Colorado River flows through Arizona and carved the Grand Canyon.
• Arizona is the 14th most populous state, with an estimated population of 7,582,384 in 2024. Phoenix is the capital and largest city, and is the most populous state capital in the United States. The state is home to 22 federally recognized Native American tribes, including the Navajo Nation, which occupies a significant portion of Arizona's land.
